Growing the pipeline of female leaders

How do we increase the numbers of women in leadership in engineering and architecture?

Recent research in the Deloitte Women @ Work report for 2021 identified development opportunities, networking and sponsorship as the most impactful interventions that organisations can do to support women in their careers.

You’re invited to join the Diversity Agenda and Beca for a discussion on enhancing greater gender balance in senior leadership through targeted development of women.

Beca is a Diversity Agenda founding partner and Accord signatory, hear how they and other partner organisations have utilised the Growing Greatness programme to develop and prepare women for leadership roles.

Growing Greatness is designed for those at the mid-point in their careers – a stage where women are at high risk of downgrading their aspirations or leaving organisations because of a perceived dearth of opportunity. The programme helps participants see themselves as leaders and enables them to cultivate clarity, grow their networks, and enhance their already proven capability.

Come along to find out more about the programme and:

  • Hear from the Growing Greatness creator and facilitator Anne Elder-Knight on the philosophy of the programme, what it covers and why it works.
  • Hear from Beca’s Managing Director Darryl Lee Wendelborn, who’ll share her experience from putting over 40 women through Growing Greatness.
  • Listen to a panel discussion led by Anne with participants and sponsors from different organisations on how leadership development has made a difference for them.
  • Share and hear stories from previous Growing Greatness participants across the involved organisations.
